I know this is a stupid question but are all longtube headers are the same length right?

All depends on what company you go with,they are all pretty in the same ballpark but most require the same company mid-pipe or a self fab mid-pipe like a dr.gas or something of that order..

I doubt that they are all EXACTALLY the same but they all should pretty much range in the same length.

No, they aren't. Hooker alone shows 3 differant lenghts of 'longtube' headers in there book.
In general, the longer the tube before the collector, the more 'bottom end' the motor will have.
The collector's lenght will also have something to do with it too. This will take some tuning to find the correct lenght for the collector.......
