Default vortech noise question

i was looking at buying a supercharger just to price them out.. and i see that the V-1 and the V-2 the only difference is the "noise" ..
whats tha mean .. the actual charger it self is noisy as in its compnents, or is it the wheezing noise that i think we all love..

yeah that "gear to gear " sound. it is the blower itself, but it's the internals that makes the noise.

I thought that it wasn't getting oil at first... Gears are straight cut, and are like reverse gears in a manual transmission. Kind of rattle at low RPM. Sounds like a cat in a dryer to me. If I'd known there was a quiet gear set available, I would have paid extra. Only hear it a idle and low RPM, other noises take over after that.
