convertible top frame
my mustang was broken into. for what ever reason they thought it would be (fun/easier) to try and pry the top off the car instead of bashing in a window like a normal theif. so now the drivers side rear window is now mashed into the car by like 3/4inch. when the windows are closed they stagger like this --------______ also as if that wasent bad enough. the top frame was for lack of a better word ripped in half i will post some pictures later when i get home anyone replaced/repaired a top frame before or know if u can get them online anywhere.
for now i have used some plate steel and bolts to kinda mend the break in the topframe the top closes and latches fine. but as you can guess it dosent really seal at all anymore. any ideas on how to mabye adjust the top or something to get it to seal again. also if anyone near 92345 (hesperia, CA) has a vert they are parting out plz let me know
Thanks for your help.

RE: convertible top frame
sorry about your luck man. When I got my mustang, the convertible top was broke in half. They just welded a little piece of metal in to fix it. You would never know it was broke unless I were to point it out. The top still works perfect. I am not sure what kind of situation you are in exactly, but you may just see if someone can weld it back. It might work, and would be a lot cheaper then getting a whole knew top frame.
