my car with the stall,410s,15*timing,shorties,ORpipe,flows,pullies ,efans and 26' tire got about 15mpg on 93 octane. it wasnt so bad before the stall. that was with me driving it with communting driving and WOT driving. so youll be alittle better then that...remember Key is properly tuned car

gears sometimes help mpg
buddy has his 02 silverado 4.8 342 gear truck
me 02 silverado 5.3 373 gear truck......about same mods 20mpg for me and 15mpg for him...figure that out and thats me driving and him driving like a normal person. my truck is heavier and stronger
sometimes the gears help a ride work less. seems liek notch gets better mpg with the 355 then the 308s. it used to really bog in 5th just cruising at 35mph
and at 70mph youll be fine it should be about 2700 rpms or so with a 26 tall tire... opps that was mine with a non lock up stall

Oh sweetness, well i really don't mind cruising at 70, that's what i have to do in the stroker to get decent fuel mileage. So I guess 4.10s it is. so the royal purple 75w90 is what i should use in the rear, and i'm going to need about 3 bottles of it plus a bottle of friction modifier... sorry i'm just running my mouth.

yeah but nm, it's all better now. I'm going to see how much he wants for the gear install and wether or not I can afford it, before he sounded like he was going to do it for free, now I think that he's going to charge me, but probly not no 400 bucks.

Good choice on the 4:10's. Ive never had a car w/ gears in them but my good friend has 4:10's in his SN-95 and they kick a$$. You will def be happy. I gaurantee that.
