Nah you shouldnt, just make sure you have all of the nuts off. I missed one and almost snaped the window in half because I thought it was just the glue but it ended up being a nut boy did I feel retarted after that lol. Its not hard though. You have nothing to worry about

Im pretty sure that its on there the same way. You need to take off your panels and there should be nuts in there (I think). I am going to take mine off tonight so if you dont have your answer in the next 2-3 hours I will let you know.

Well it sounded like in your post that you just went and tried to pry the windows out from the outside. I believe I used one of those long box cutter blades or something, I can't remember. But I just got between the window and body and cut through the seal all the way around. After you get like 3/4 of the way around you may beable to pry it the rest of the way off.
I did it in the midst of 20 degree weather too, that's probably why the one window broke, but that's fine since I converted it to 87-93 windows.

uhhhh yeah i realize that. it doesn't just "pop" out after that . i guess you've done it b4 since your so knowledged????? maybe ford forgot to use the sealant on yours? if you've done this you know what i'm talking about.
but thanks for the "words of wisdom"
i was talking about after the nutz come off.
i really really didn't think it was just glued into place.
i was referring to the sealant. yes it's still pliable, but it's sticky as hell.

Well, I'm glad you decied to pry it from the outside, cause that's not the way they come out. They unbolt from the inside of the car, so you need to take out all the trim and panels that's in the way to get to the nuts that hold the window in.
