Default new radiator, old hoses to small?

I just installed a new aluminum radiator in my coupe, and went to connect the upper and lower hoses, and they seem to be to small. I went to buy some new at my local parts store (discount auto) and all they have is the stock replacement. Any one have a source for oversized hoses? I put a caliper on the O.D. of the stub out pipes, and the upper is 1 1/2" and the lower looks to be 1 3/4" . Hopefully there is a quick and easey solution. Thanks, John1614.

I had the same problem with my griffin rad, I had to cut 1/2 inch off, and make a small slit in the bottom hose then I put a thin film of oil on the inside of the hose and then struggled to get it on.
it took a bit, but have patience, it will get on there.

it took about an hour just to get on the bottom hose on.

They also make flexible straight hoses with various sizes/lengths. It will be a good temp fix until you find premolded hoses that fit correctly.

most auto parts stores will carry them (flex hoses)

put grease on the inside of the hose and the rad. outlet. than heat the hose with a heat gun on low for about a minute (inside and out) they should slip on pretty easy.

i don't even need hose clamps for mine...
