Well it depends on what company you go with, some companies suck w/ their coating. W/ some companies its really not even worth the extra money because the coating is so thin it burns off in the first 1,000 miles.

I got the MAC unequal length shorties for like 160, it was a good deal I think and they work great too.

Okay how about this question?....Newb question I know, I know....Does it matter what size for example I see sizes 1-1/2 and 1-5/8? Does it matter what size? or is that just to make sure it will work with the type of exhaust you have?

It dosent matter alot but you could go with 1 5/8.

Little late maybe but lots of shorty types are 'exempt' meaning that they are ok to use. I wouldn't use them myself as I like to lotza internal mods.
I would go with 1 5/8...........

go with BBK's I had the Mac headers and they didn't seal up good. Make sure that you put some tread locker blue on them so that they don't back out. I would make sure that they are tight after a couple of heat cycles just to make sure that they are tight.
