Yea but that can get VERY annoying. I remember wearing a HUGE down jacket when I first got my car becasue it didnt have heat. That could get annoying though. I would change it if you drive it daily.

pretty easy just time consuming have to remove seats, console, drop steering wheel down ac does not have to be serviced there is a way to cheat by let the heater core bolt loose and pulling it out slightly can gently break off the cover where the core goes pull it out and glue/tape it back together, fiberglass it or use some kind of epoxy! go to www.mustangsteve.com i think or go to yahoo and search there is a primedia website that groups all the mustang tech articles together i cant find the address i got some web address from someone on here just do a search maybe u can find it!

Why would you have to remove the seats to take the dash out?

I thought the heater was on the pasenger side of the car. I may undertake this project to change out my heater core very soon, just waiting for a lil warmer day, but i was just hoping to get away with just dropping one side of the dash, like pull the dash back far enough to get access to the heater core. Seems like i wont be able to do that. i oviously have never done a heater core and dont even know what i am going to run into. Thanks for the link though, good to see some pics.
