Default should I ?(shortened)

Man am i in a delema, I was just looking at the auto trader, and saw a nice 1989 gt for sale and only thing wrong was that it needs a tranny, and i have the auto tranny to stick in there with only 30k miles, Now i would have to sell my mustang that i have now and i need to know a good price to put in the auto trader and if i should even do this or if i should just keep working on my car that i have now. My mustang is a 1991 lx hatch 5-speed, with full exhaust and a couple other goodies, the body though is not in good shape needs rust repair in a couple spots and prob a new hatch. So should i sell or should i just hold off and work on the lx I would really want to know what you guys think thank you

First, remove your 5-speed, pedal linkage and the goodies from your lx. Install the automatic on the lx and then sell it. Now, definitely buy the GT and install the 5-speed. You won't regret buying the GT. Doesn't it look way better?

well personally Id rather fix a car that needs engine work than a car that needs bodywork, bodywork is way expensive....Ill tell you a story about buying other stangs, My first car was a stang 89, lx hatch it had lots of mods, I paid little for it, it had an awsome body, small interior problems, well after putting 6 months of elbow grease working on it, making the car practicly perfect, I came across a killer deal on a 331 stroker stang, he was asking 6000, so I decided to sell my stang for the other, but after I sold my stang, I go to buy the other stang...turns out he sold it, after I sold my car I wish I kept it. it was so nice, I went shopping around for stangs again, and I cant believe how many stangs out there that people are trying to sell, I ve seen straight up junk cars that people are asking way too much for...moral of the story, be careful on buying and sell stangs, I regret selling that stang...makes me want to cry ...but it works out for the better after waiting a couple of months I found another stang that was same price but its in better conditon and better engine, so im happy now, and they both are the same year, same color, same interior color, so im happy, Find a car that you will regret to sell, thats when you know you have a keeper.

I would go for more than $2,200. If I had $2,200 I would buy it. How many miles are on it? I would put it in there for $3,200 or something like that because whatever you ask for it, expect to get that minus -$500. So if you put it in there for $2,200 you will probally only get $1,700. You also want to make people feel like they are getting a good deal you know. Tell them $3,200 and drop down to $2,700 and they will feel like they are getting away with a steal and feel like they HAVE to buy it because they cant give up a deal like that.
