Default newb here please help

Hey guys whats up, I'm new to this site and to working on Ford mustangs. Just got into it because my dad has a 86 GT. I want to put a C6 tranny on his 302. What do I need to change in oder to do the swap, or does the c6 just bolt right up? Need all the advice anyone can give thanks.

I know that it will fit with no problem but what about the C6. Plus he already bought the tranny and doesn't want to get ride of it, something about being old school, oh well isn't my money I'm spending anyway. Just helping him work on it.

c6 is really strong, but kinda heavy (not heavier than an aod though)

there are some mods compared to a c4...not as str8 forward, it's a much larger tranny.

check these sites out maybe will help.

one is for a aod to t5 swap....if you looked at the reverse of it...it would be close .
