well for a better tune the equals are the way..as for plug issues it wasn't the header is was the installer not taking measure to fix the problem..as for rusting, they rust no worst than any other header that isn't coated..I have run htese for years and never had a problem..now for the easy of installion yes it is harder..I would however say for low horsepower cars do use the unequals as like said above there is maybe 5hp diffence in them..

i have mac equal lengths on mine....no leaks no spark plug issues ...nothing...i like em...except their ugly i found it a lot easier to put them on with the motor unbolted and on a jack so that you can move the motor around if you need to....and also make sure your motor mounts are good ...there can be clearance issues with equal lenths if your mounts are bad....good luck
