Forget porsches...
Almost everyone here in Berlin drives porsches, but I take great pleasure in beating them with my american V8 mustang 5.0L. This is my first post in the 5.0 section. I see at the bottom of the posts about your vehicle's parts. How do I mention mine?

I remember when I lived in Germany in the 70s, and had my 67 Mustang GT. It was my daily driver the fist 2 years, then I converted it to strip only. It was fast to begin with, then I did a lot of work on it. I never had any trouble with any one on the road, except once on the Autobahn, when a lamborghini tried me from about 90 MPH. We were even to well past 120 when he shifted to top gear, and pulled away from me. We drove another 100 miles and I never did see him again. I have nothing but respect for Lambos.
Here is my GT taken in Germany after I converted it to strip only. We raced at Sembach AFB.

I sold it while in Gernany. Should of kept the GT, and got rid of the wife.

Thanks for the information. I guess the signature worked. Anyways, It was not easy getting an american car like the 5.0L over here. The car cost 4,500 american dollars and another 1,200 dollars to ship overseas. The car is driven on the roads on the end of each week.
I think this car may not be legal in american streets. I think it is due to inspections. My LX notchback has beaten many expensive german cars and my opponents have to know why after each race. I try to explain, but their ignorance of american motorsports is to great.
You guys should see this car in Nurburgring. My fastest time around the track was 8 Minutes and 58 seconds. It is pretty unusual for the other lamborghini's, ferrari's, and porsches to see such a small car in that track. Next week i'll be going again. But this car's handling is a bit tense. I can really beat the other cars off a corner and on straightaways. I guess I prefer to use it more on roads with traffic lights.

How much does it cost to drive the Nurburgring? You are so lucky to be able to drive that cource. Do they only let a certain amount of people on the track at a time or do you pay your money and everyone is out there at the same time?
