RE: Which intake manifold to get
i voted for trickflow because it's the best of those out of the box but i do preffer the looks of the cobra. you didn't mention anything about budget, if your looking fot the best price the cobra is also the way to go on that one, i got mine (used) for 200$ (or 250$?...i forget) and i got the lower ported ...it will probably flow just as much if not more than the trickflow.

RE: Which intake manifold to get
IMO, when it comes to buying an new intake or any other part its really a matter of personal preference. As far as performance goes, everyone seems to be hung up on advertised flow numbers. The fact is most of the popular manifolds on the market (including the typhoon) flow fairly close to one another when tested against other manifolds in their same class. The 5 or so cfm differences really arent critical for most street/strip applications, but make a great marketing tool. Also, how well a maniflod flows on a flow bench and how well it actually flows in a real world situation can differ greatly depending on the application. Factors like cams, heads, tuning etc. can have a large effect, which only serves to make that minor flow difference less significant. As long as you stick with the popular brands used by others it really boils down to a matter of Price and Appearance. I personally feel that the trick flow is a great looking manifold and performs as well as any of the others, but I think the typhoon is the best value when it comes to manifolds. It performs on par with its more expensive competitors and can be bought for $150.00 cheaper than the other popular brand names. Though I usually perform a port match on these manifolds, as the ports can be alittle rough out of the box, its not really required. If looks are a concern you can get these manifolds in a polished version and still spend $75.00 less than the cost of the others in a non polished version. Like I said iits really a matter of how much ya wanna spend for what looks good to you.
