alright im looking to buy a 1983-1993 mustang and pull the engine and tranmittion out if it has on and put a 302 engine that i built and a racing transmittion now if i do that will i have to beef up the front end if it had a smaller engine in it or will it be ok?

if it had a 4cl then you will deff have to put v8 springs in it.

thats all i need to do just springs or will i have to do more stuff to the front end?

did you build your race motor and your race "transmittion"? What all has been done to you engine?

i build the motor and gonna buy a transmittion off one of my friends that has it laying around. in the motor i striped it down to the block, sent it out to get acid diped and bored .030 over, got a rebuilding kit with forged pistons, got a edelbrock manifold, some cheap ford racing valve covers, a cheap oil pan, hi-volume water pump, i think thats about it i still gotta buy the carb but i have no clue about carbs so im finding more about them befor i go out and buy one, if any one knows some thing about carbs tell me what you think i should get. 0 and the heads got all new valves, springs, and rocker arms
