Hey, i'm looking to buy a 1995 mustang which was originally a V6 but the engine was converted to a V8. When I went to see it, the odometer said 128 thousand miles though. I asked my friend about changing the engine and he said that you have to replace the guages and odometer and all when you swap out the engine. I asked the guy what was up with the mileage and he said that was on the body, and that the engine was put in with 80 k miles and he put on 5 or 7 thousand miles. My question is: is this guy lying or might the engine really have only 87 k miles on it?
