Default 95 5.0 Question...new to the sn95's

I know everything about foxes....but my bro is getting a 95 5.0 auto...Im not sure on these...but here is goes, Do 94-95 5.0's come with forged internals, how much more do they weight than a 89' GT hatch.Do they still have the same HP as the fox(225hp)(300TQ), how much slower are they than a fox. I mean my stock fox is going to run a high 14, will the sn95 be like low 15 with the auto trans?

They did change the internals, its hp rating is 215 and 289 tq, Ford changed the way they aquired these numbers in 94 but they are the same as the fox. The auto will run 15's stock.

will it atleast be 14's with an auto and 4.10's full exhaust, pulleys and TB, and MAF...I was hoping with those mods that it will be able to run mid 14's or low 14's...???

The 4.10's will help a lot but your going to have to do something with the suspension. 94 and 95 have some ****ty suspension. U/L control arms and some springs should help a lot to get it into the low 14's

Mid 14s will be no problem with your setup even with an automatic. I know my vert sees 14 flat with this setup as of right now:FRPP shorty headers, Bassani X-pipe, Flowmasters, 373 gears, UD pullies, smog pump eliminator, diablosport chip, and a fully built auto tranny with 2000 stall and ratchet shifter. As for suspension goes it has Summitracing upper and lower control arms, monroe sensatrac shocks and struts, and eibach springs. Hope this helps because I was disappointed when I first bought mine but I believe I went in the right direction and with this setup I am extremly happy, cant wait till heads, cam, and intake go on.....

hey SN95FoxII, what eibach spring are you running...looking to do suspension soon...did it help alot with times at the track? maybe lowers and uppers and some springs? How much time do you think i would drop?

anyhow my car is running a 14.59 with stock tires, 4.10, full exhaust, shifter, pulleys...that is about all i have...with the auto i think he might be at about a mid to high 14 with those mods. stock autos are about a second slower in the quarter.

I have the Eibach Sportlines for convertible, it lowers the car about 1.25 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. I wish it would of dropped lower but i think the verts arent meant to sit as low, not sure why. Yes you can definitley feel a difference with springs and control arms especially you 60ft. which will help your overall et, if i had to guess I would say 14.4 14.3 depending on how well you can drive, my times are real consistant with my tranny so i see a low 14.
