DEAD MISS 94gt
Well, got the 94 gt and of coarse i am experiancing the little probelms associated with the car maybe being hammered on or not taken care of from the past driver. Upon getting the car new front tires, MAF, and u-joints were added. Since then every 3K miles oil changes have been done and ive kept care of her. Well before it started to get cold here in michigan i started to experiacne a slight miss when accelarating after 2k rpm. This would vary being there sometimes and not being there others. Well then i started to get a huge dead miss when like ill let the clutch out and start rolling and as soon as i pass up like 1500K rpm it dead misses and almost puts me into my steering wheel from the 10 mph momentum i had. pretty sh***y. Well been driving it lightly through the winter her and now the big dead miss has gone away returning not so often but RETURNING. The little stutters and little missees howevr are still there. It feels almost liek it felt before i put the new MAF in. What could be the issue here, ne questions for me that will furthur in you helping me feel free to ask. Thanks in advance.....

Check all the sparkplugs, the wires and maybe even the rotor cap. You may be arcing so definately check the wires over to make sure they are not burnt and that you have all the seperators on.

RE: DEAD MISS 94gt
I'd replace the ignition module. It's located under the airbox on a 94. I just did mine...the engine would cut out periodically even while cruising down the highway...probably 3 times a week at least. Replaced the module, problem is gone.

RE: DEAD MISS 94gt
i had a 92 LX 4 banger auto, and it would miss gears when its cold in the morning and what not and when me and my dad went in there we basicly had no tranny fluid or it was dirty or sumthin, i dont really know. but once that was fixed it never slipped again....
