RE: electric fan on my 92
I had a taurus fan, and all was good, till my thermostatic controller turned the fan on, it kept popping the 30 amp fuse.
those fans pull around 70 amps on initial startup. they do cool it down okay, but it is better to hook up a switch, or use a high amperage relay.
I was pissed to change back to the stock fan on the side of the highway.
the stock one works fine.
some people just hook the fan straight to the battery and a switch.
but going that way you might forget to turn it on.
