Help me decide on Full length Subframe connectors Steeda or UMI?
Hey guys....
Adding subframe connectors to my 1986 Mustang 5.0 Hatchback.
After much review I am down to 2 brands.
Either the Steeda Full lengths or the UMI full lengths.
They are both the same size and configuration. The UMI is thicker wall at .120 while the steeda's are at .085.. (Big Difference)
The UMI's also look stouter on the torque box area. with thicker reinforcement plate that is already welded on.
Umi's run 190 shipped and steeda's are 160 shipped, steeda is zinc coated and umi is powdercoated.
Umi's can be seen here.... http://www.umiperformance.com/1100.aspx
I'm sure everyone have seen the steedas
Does anyone know a better price for the UMI's, possible vendor for those?
Which ones should i get? I'm having a hard time deciding, currently im leaning towards the UMI's becuase of the thicker material.
