Im sick of flowmasters on my stang,Would i notice any difference switching to mac catbacks or just leave the flows?

Macs and flows are very similar when it comes to how they sound since there both chambered mufflers,about the only way to go is with a straight thru muffler like bassani,magnaflow,dynomax,hooker,borla,etc....

hey I have been wondering... I heard a stang w/ the round magnaflow and it sounded nice. does any one know if there is any hp gains over flows?

I have magnaflows and they arnt nearly as loud as the Flows but are much more crisp.

get away from the chamber mufflers bc most of them sound like the flows. I have Dynomax ultra flows that are a straight through design and dont have a drone and are loud

you might as well just cut off the mufflers and run straight pipe this seems like the sound your going for. if you want crisp good sound build your motor and make the sound count many times ive been challenged buy super loud stangs maros and trans ams but have walked them because quite literally they are all talk and no go. also macs are cheap knock offs of flows so it will probably sound sheetier.you get what you pay for.

There's a LOT of people that preferr the MAC's over the flows, I've heard that they have a slightly different tone and are a bit louder. I'm going to get them as soon as I can get ahold of 300 extra bucks.

anything that is close to Glasspacks sucks, i think glasspacks or turbo flow muffler are the worst sounding muffler out their, also if you dont run mufflers at all that is a performance decreas.
