RE: car stumbles(misses) bad occasionally
Ok i agree with the guys who said adjust the idle cuz its the same thing i had with my car but it never really ran bad after the idle dropped so it could be a different problem. On mine, when the idle drops i also notice the volts drop as well so i think the reason that the car is dropping idle is becuase i am losing voltage (or im losing voltage cuz idle is dropping) anyway so what i did was just turn the warm idle upto about 900-950 and then my car idles enough to keep the volts up and doesnt drop idle. Its just my opinion but i would say warm the car adjust the idle up, dont worry about the TPS, drive it first see how it runs and idles then worry about the tps. Also maybe turn your fuel pressure upto about 42-45psi and try that.

Yea Im gonna try this because I've noticed that my car doesnt really run bad when the idle drops, its just annoying me when Im sitting at a light and my car is shaking side to side and sounding like its gonna die or something (idle=600 when this happens) Unfortunately adjusting the TPS is gonna be the hard part cuz I cant the freakin screws loose.

Ok I tried this and got the TPS screws loose, yay! It def idles better, i got the volts on the TPS down to .99 which is the lowest it would go. The idle goes up and down between 900-1100, but its better than the low idle, my gas mileage might get a little worse but oh well. I can deal with this idle just not the low idle.
