Default My car burns oil :( Help?

Would it be worth it to fix this problem? Or should I just save for the bigger block I wanted to toss in(351)</P>

the engine has around 90-100k miles on it already but, I was wondering if I should just go ahead and MOD it and fix my oil problem, or should just go with a new engine. I dont have the money all together just yet but once i get my taxes done for this year i should have enough for the block. But nothing else really, so i'd be purchasing crap throughout the year for it. How much does it cost to fix this? Don't you just need to have the piston rings replaced or something? And I doubt I would be doing this myself but either cost range is fine with me just want to know what I'm looking at here. But I do have someone that COULD help me with it if I asked. So... suggestions?</P>

id say 1 qt every... 1 1/2 - 2 weeks which averages about 360-480 miles</P>

doesnt leave a puddle under the car, leaves marks on the driveway n such when warming up where the exhaust comes out. no blue smoke or anything tho</P><edited><editID>Obsol3te</editID><editDate>37998.7988310185</editDate></edited>

are you sure those marks from the exhaust are oil or just carbon that came out with the moisture which is normal when warming up...if you were "burning" that much and it was coming out your exhaust you'd be hella smokin'

its hard to say cause if you're burning that much you'd be smoking bad, so obviously its going somewhere else....do you have any mods done?</P>
