MSD Ignition
I just bought the msd ignition box and i am installing it right now but I can not figure out where to mount the box at. I have a 91 lx and it is supercharged so the passenger side is kind of off limits and the driver side has all types of **** over there. So if someone could help me on where people usually put the box that would be great.

RE: MSD Ignition
I've seen many right where the battery goes, which means you have to mount the battery in the hatch.

ORIGINAL: 5.0 MPG I've seen many right where the battery goes, which means you have to mount the battery in the hatch. Yes, I detailed a guys Sn95 and he made a diamond plate cut out to fit over the battery tray and mounted the box right to that. Alot of guys mount them to the firewalls |
RE: MSD Ignition
Yea firewall is the easiest bet.

RE: MSD Ignition
Hey, keep that box away from heat sources or you'll be buying another one.
If call MSD's 1-800 number and ask them they'll send you a real good tech book on everything they make........ |
RE: MSD Ignition
you could mount it on the bottom of the sub frame, i have seen that, on the drivers side under the battery not under under, but on the oppsite side of the sub frame. if you want o do the extra wiring you could mount it under the driver or passingers seat.
