i crept up on a seemingly run down old trans am. from the back it look like it had drag slicks but i thought they were for show. once i reached to the front of his car i figured the drag slick matched the drag set up in on his engine. the trans am was bad @ss. he saw i had a 5.0 an he began to rev. i then knew my stock five oh seemed like a civic to him i knew even if i tried i would lose. we were both at the light. he knew i didn't want to race given the odds. the trans am's driver said we could still have fun. so i went along. i could hear him reving. the light turned green and i got a quick head start. i thought i could sweep this win but i could the loud thunderous sound that was the trans am. he blew passed me like i was standing still. but i still believe i did good on the count my car i completley stock with no gears. i felt honored to race a muscle legend.

P.S earlier today i raced an "Alero" on the same road i raced the trans am and i wooped the **** out of it.

Yea i beat a dodge aries once...And later that night a threw a huge party to celebrate my victory

No good kill it is possible that the T/A was a hunk of junk but he could of have been runnin some juice to beat you..

this is why I like the sleeper stuff..you think is a POS and you get your @ss handed to ya....I used to beat up on the z-28 with my 1975 chev monza with 70 series snow tires on the rear and primered black with steel rims..and a nice 400 under the hood

never trust a pos looking car with slicks....more often then not they are just way more into "go" then "show!" good try though and at least you had fun
