Well, I need to either rebuild my stock T-5 cause of synchros which will cost me about 800 bucks, or I was thinking about buying a new (or new rebuilt) stronger transmission because of the 300+ hp Ive got and will have more.. What should I do and do you know where I might find good pricing if I should go with a different rans? ({what type?})</P>

well for 800 you could have a nice c-4 with a 2500 stall, shift kit and it would be about .25 sec faster

I like my manual tho... Given that Id like to staymanual and that this will be a daily driver as well as having possibly 400hp, should i be going with a 4 speed or stay with the 5? <edited><editID>Milky</editID><editDate>37999.9975115741</editDate></edited>

The 4 speed would be faster and accelerate harder im sure, but would it kill my mileage at all or not really</P>

I wouldn't go 4-speed, just losing your overdrive.
