I'd be real careful with a 1.7
Do you have enough valve spring for them? Will you have enough clearance between the retainer and the guide for them?
Will the valve covers work with them?
Where are they made? If made by ****** they may not do anything or they do some thing you don't really want....

i cant say what difference they made cause when i put in my RR i also did afr165's, new push rods, and 24# injectors. theyve been on the car for a while now and they are still working great. blew a head gasket right after putting the sc on so when i had the motor torn down i looked them all over when i cleaned them and they showed no signs of wear
