Hi all, I am going to be getting some 16x8.5 Chrome Cobra R rims. I am wondering what size tire would be good I want wider than stock of course but dont want to go so big that they rub. I have an 87 LX, the package I am looking at is the 4 16.8.5 rims with 235-55-16 tires. Im thinking the 235 is going to be way to skinny im not shure. But if anyone has 16's I would appreciate some input!

When I was running ponys I was 245-50-16 and they were pretty good. Not sure if you can go any wider in the back w/out rolling your fender or removing the quad shocks. i personally wouldn't go any wider than 245's in the front.
