Default Rip off

Hey well i was out today looking to get some prices today. like getting my subframe connectors put in, and all i have to say is WOW do people try to rip you off all the time? i mean the numbers i was getting quoted are crazy. and i went to a place that does turbo kits and the guy told me 8-10k to build a turbo kit. you cant be serious. and he wanted 5k for a vortec supercharger kit. i think im looking in the wrong places.[&:]

Most likely installed. Most manufacturers say that it will take 12 hours to install and they probably go off of that and maybe even give themselves some buffer time.

if it is installed for a full vorteck kit it really isnt that unreasonable, but the turbo does seem a little unreasonable however.

no thats not what im saying, the guy wanted 5k for just the kit with out the install and the dyno tune. i understand taking time to learn and everything, all i wanted was the kit, i can put it on my self no big deal. but i think its crazy to charge someone 5k. i can get the kit for like 3500 off the internet.

8-10k for turbo setup. maybe that included a new low compression motor. LOL
