Use a second pressure gauge to check first one.
Also, some types of additives can eat any of the foam in the cell. Check and see that this is not happening.....

i have a holley blue pump and the regulator the comes with it, fuel cell, no return line, holley 650 double pumper, barry grant filter.
and the foam looks to be great still. but the cell doesnt have the vent hooked up it is just capped off. it has started to suck the top of the tank down.

You may have just found your problem, vent the cell (outside the trunk/hatch) and see what that does. Also check the wiring for pump, it should be on a relay, if not, the wiring may be getting hot as the pump runs causing more resistance and thus less power to the pump.

But I'm just going to throw this out there. Try a new fuel pump. Borrow one from a friend or whatever you have to do. Also check the wiring.

Concur with JD1969.....
Don't skimp on the size of the vent either, 1/2" will work good. That pump will suck harder than my old girlfriend, hard enough to cave the cell in. Got to be vented......
