The T-5 is my 88gt is leaking fluid, i cant really pin-point where from though. It seems to be coming from the passengers side(atleast thats were it is all going) but its not coming from the drain plugs. Most of the drips are leaking down the transmission mount. So is there something up there that is prone to leaking?

check that the shifter has a good seal.

most of the t-5 trannys leak from the front
it is under the bearing retainer.
so you have drop the tranny and take the bearing retainer
off and put a new gasket there.

Hmmm it sounds like you may be right with the bearing retainer. Pisses me off that i just had the tranny out to replace the clutch

could be why...maybe you bumped it pulling it out.
i'm putting a steel one in, and from this thread, i'm gonna make sure it's sealed up like a ****
