Default Ratling from lower front end area?

I drove my mustang from the mechanics shop to paint and body today and noticed that the front end was bouncing around a lot. I am assuming I need to replace the struts. I also heard some ratling whenever I hit bumps. Could this also be the struts? Or is it more likely the control arms or spindles or anything else?

Any ideas?

my 93 lx 2.3 liter did that and I ended up replacing the whole rack and pinion and the control arm bushings and sway bar bushings and that fixe the problem and a way to test the rack and pinion is to each of the front wheels and shake them back and forth and if they movr more than a quater of an inch and makes a noise than i think i would replace that rack and pinion about 130 bucks if its any help!
