Default The Mysterious Leak

hey guys, well i have noticed that the ticking noise coming from under my hood has gotten really bad lately. the problem is i cant find a leak in the exhaust anywhere. now, i dont think its a lifter though. it sounds like the noise is right behind the radio or console if you will. anyone ever had this problem. any help is appreciated fellas!!!

Is youre car running ok, it could be as simple as a loose plug wire.

yea, the car runs fine. i guess ill just have to have it up on a lift to see whats up.

gasket is good and bolts are tight. i dunno. anyone else got any tips? thanks yall

Just because the bolts are tight doesnt mean theres no leaks, Your header get warped from the heat, or if you baught the crappy Mac headers they thend to have warping problems.

This is what I did, let the car run till it gets hot and get some Heat resistant gloves and start tighting the bolts down I can almost garantee you will get a little play on some of the bolts.

well all bolts are tight. didnt get much play outta then (even when heated) TIME for a lift!!

start the car have some one cover the tailpipes with thier hand or rag and listen for air
