Ok im getting ready to put in my new 24# injectors in and I take the side plate of my intake off and I noticed there was a small puddle of what smelt like fuel. What would cause this? Is that normal? Is that the reason why my car is back fireing?

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that's definitely not normal. Check the fuel rails. Actually check every little thing that the fuel flows thru cas im pretty sure ur problem could turn into something very serious very quick.

Yea I just did that nothing looks out of order, But I accedently broke a flange to the upperintake mainfold and now im hoping I can get it warrantyed. We will see.

Good luck and be real careful cas a guy i kno had just finished his gt and he decided to twist tie his fuel lines. End of story... his car burned in and school parking lot about 30mins later. Moral of the story, dont do stuff half-a$$ and buy a fire extinguisher

Yeah I just turned the fuel pump on to check for leaks and it looks good. Ima call it a day today and Wait for my new upper intake.
