As you can tell by the posts im not a 100% on how the c-4 runs, i dont wanna be drivin around on the street and be at high rpms. Does it adjust to the pressure you are putting on the gas? I wanna have the best drag times possible, a tuned automatic ive heard is the best way to go. Stick would be alot more fun to drive though. Just wonderin if you culd shine some light on the subject.

You could use your C4 with a manual valve body. If you use a manual valve body, the trans will only shift when you move the shifter. You can get it in forward (P,R,N,3,2,1) or reverse pattern (P,R,N,1,2,3). I have a C4 with reverse manual valve body.

Most likely you would be okay with AOD or C4. Just keep in mind, if you change to manual valve body, you will have to do all the shifting.

Search web for performance transmission, once on a site search for manual valve body.

I dont have a problem with shifting at all, just worried it may take that spilit second off my 1/4 time. How much did that manual valve body cost you? did you put it in your self?

OUTSTANDING!!! Thanks so much for those links. i love it. Now of course i have a few questions.
1) Theres no clutch pedal correct?
2) Are you free to shift at any RPM?
3) Does a light come on the tach when to shift, like ive seen in some cars?
4) Does it grind alot?
5) Would you recomend this or just a full manual for drag/street use?
