Sometime soon I hope to do a T-5 swap on my car. I was wondering if you can use one out of a V6 and which parts are compatible and which ones are not. I know with the foxes the 4 cylinder trans ratios are different and they arent quite as durable. Does anyone if this is true on the newer stangs?

I belive that they are they same, but I could be wrong.

check the tag ont he tranny you buy, and see what it is exactly w/ this chart

different input shaft sizes...dia. and length , torque rating, and gearing.
