Default rear end

If i convert my four banger into a 5.0. when i get done with that is my rear end going to go out after a few burnouts?

Not if its a stock 5.0. Then i wouldnt worrie to much....but If you car is still all stock for an 81 you have 7.5 inch rear end appose to a8.8. And i blew my stock 7.5 inch rear right after I upgraded exhaust as a first mod. That does not mean it will happen to yours but my car only had 65,000 original miles on it and it still went. Check the letter code on the inside door jam to find out what gear you have and you can find it online. I had the site but i forgot it. My advise eaither upgrade the gear or buy a 8.8 inchrear.
