ok well here is a tip for ya if you use a holley intake you cant run tall valve covers unless you have a 3/8intake spacer or larger, also, ford makes look a like valve covers that look just like the stock but are crome you can use roller rockers under them and they are not any taller than stock, now if you get something like i have just a stadard efi valve cover you have to cut the baffle out of the passingers valve cover so they will clear. hope this helps. what heads are you using on your 331? and what cam?

No actually i did listen to you Vfast..the only problem is. i ordered the wrong valve covers and got the ones for carburated motors instead of the ones for the EFI. well actually i didnt get them they were a gift.

I think im just going to get the EFI valve covers..It looks like i would need one thick spacer to make it work. More than 1 inch because there is a breather hole right below the upper intake, and i would need to put a breather cap there and it would deff. not clear. Cutting of the baffle doesnt bother me i did it to my stock covers when i was running my 1.7RR for the clearance. As for the heads they are a head the machine shop hooked me up with they are called PBM Aussie heads. They are 210 cc and flow above 310cfm on the intake and more than 230 cfm on the exhaust. i am running a costom Comp cam Blower cam.

When I Called holley they suggested stacking spacers.
