Default Need help diagnosing my 5.0

I have a '91 GT with the Ford Racing Crate motor in it. The car just does NOT like to idle on its own. Say .. if I to back into a parking spot the car just shuts right off. Also, while I'm cruising around/under acceleration the car bogs down for about a second and drives like normal right after, then it bogs down again..and so on. It 'bogs down' very often while I'm driving. (sorry I can't think of any other way to describe it :/ ) Does anyone know what this could be?

Oh and .. yesterday I unplugged the IAC and cleaned it (it wasn't really dirty anyway) but it still does the same thing.

Honestly this could be too many things. You need to start eliminating potiential problems. You should have some sort of manual, preferably a Chiltons, and a multimeter. Start with the easy stuff.

Ignition system - timing, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, etc
Intake - filter, tps, tb etc
Exhaust - o2 sensors, smog assembly .............

Scanners / code readers are helpful sometimes also. You can find them on ebay for $20 to $30 bucks.

If its none of these then start taking a look at your fuel system.

is that w/ no vacum? if thats w/ vacum its too high
you need to put a code scanner on it, but it sounds like your IAC is bad
