New 5.0 owner here!!
 

I just got a '95 5.0 with custom paint, '03 cobra rims, full Bassani exhaust, headers, Hpipe, 3.2 gears (i know, i know...not too great haha) some aftermarket shifter, a racing clutch and a few other mods (not too sure). I LOVE THIS THING! But I have one complaint. When i shift into second, it makes a sort of grinding noise at low rpms? it sounds like the shifter is rattling around or something...its odd, and its freaking me out! But other than that, it's SUCH a nice car (90k miles). I'm going to keep it for at least 7 years so if someone could give me any info on the weird noise im hearing, id REALLY appreciate it! And its nice to be here!

Could have a bad syncro in the Tranny or the shifter is lose

Welcome. You have found a good place for unlimited stang info. This site has been good to me and im sure it will be to you. Post some pics of your car when you get a chance. I'd love to see it.

cool, glad to hear you got a stang, the shifter rattle may be normal, mine makes a lil noise.
