Default Slicks on an '88 Stang GT

Hey all, without rolling fenders (maybe some pounding on the inner fender) what size slick can I stick on this car? I've been thinking about 28X10.5 but think wider is better if possible. Can ya all help me? Thanks...

I think MT makes a 26X10.5 also. Ya think that would go on a bit easier?

Don't forget the taller the tire the more gear you might need to compensate. Don't buy more tire than you need, you should be able to put over 500 rwhp on a 26x10 tire, with the proper suspension it will hook fine.

Thanks JD... I think that I will go with the 26" tires... and any word on suspension would be helpful... I am a bit new to this all...

It's pretty easy on a stang. Upper and lower control arms, bushings, shocks/struts sub frames. Do a search and see what others are using and what they like. Don't forget to get a good alingnment and have the pinion angle set correctly.
