Hello alll i got a question maybe someone may be able to help me with i have an 88 mustang with AOD trans i just put nother trans in it the trans worked perfect when i pulled it from my other stang now thats its in the not wrecked one it seems to be not acting right it drops right in reverse it goes in drive just little slower than supposed to be i have checked the fluid its fine filled the torque converter before i installed it ,now heres the funny part when im sittin at a stop light i let my foot off the brake ot rolls as it should but when i hit the gas i have to hit bout 2200 rpms before it ingages but if i drop the hammer it lauches as it should now it does have shift kit in the tranny. im lost it worked good only 4 months ago now im havin real issues with it any help would be great thanks to all

I bet its the adjustment on the cable at the throttle body. It adjust the pressure for the trans. to function properly.

does it have a stall converter on the trans.?

no factory stall and i adjusted the linkage at throttlr body yesterday it helped the shift points but not the take off from stop
