or an even easier solution when u order ur udp just don't install the alt pulley.........i mean ur not going to gain but hp or 2 and then u don't have the extra hassle

generally speaking. when you buy a FULL SET of UDP pulleys, the alt pulley is SMALLER so he WOULD want to install it. think supercharger.... the smaller the pulley, the faster it will spin. its a ratio thing. smaller crank pulley to stock alt pulley = less charging capacity.

the main idea behind a UDP is to lower thr rotational mass of the motor.

My Probe had a stock pulley that weighed 6lbs, my Unorthodox Racing UDP was 13oz... big difference!

i have udp on my car and my lights dim and everything cause of that pulley so i am speaking from experience and i don't have a system so imagine would it would do with a system and they usually recommend not installing udp if u plan on running a system
