everyone and there trick flow, you know theres better companys than them, each company has there good products

look into porting a polishing your stock one. I dont have the articles but they tested this and it flows as good as the GT-40 with out looseing your low end torque. i got a quote for this for under 300. Look into it. It wil save your money and give you more power in the end

but i will say the sameas i didin the other one- trick flow is stillmuch better</P>

ya i saw that he had two post as the same thing, i didnt know where to put it so i posted it in both of them. Trick flow might be better, but then its just a pain to start swapping different companies, and what works with what, and is it to much for the one mod i have. i felt that staying with ford motorsport, it was so much easier. Just my opinion.

i'd say trick flow or edlbrock cobra/gt-40/explorer lowes only flow 170's cfm unported but motorsport intakes look best,also depends on heads head flowing more than 200cfm needs more than stock motorsport intakes its all about parts matching i gave up fuelie went back to carb in my case i gained 4mph in 1/4.

MMFF did a flow test a while back that included the Proffessional Products Typhoon intake. It flowed as good as the Edlebrock and the was only a tiny bit less then the GT 40. The only way it was seriously out flowed was by a race intake like the Trick Flow R or Edelbrock Victors. I kow it's not the coolest looking but you can get it polished for less than a GT 40.

i have a victor it is way too much unless u have forced induction and huge headsso replaced it with typhoon polished foundto work better for now, got the polished one for under $400.00 in cali should be cheaper almost everywhere else. and it is exactly the same as the Edlebroch RPM. here in cali explore intakes run around 550.00 so unless it is alot cheaper there dont consider one.<edited><editID>619socalstang</editID><editDate>38008.6572106481</editDate></edited>

this is why I said profession product's typhoon intake a poished one can be had for 329.99...and with a gasket match mild port job will flow very well..who is willing to put 300.00 in a stock intake? unless you have a 4.6...you don't always have to have the best...the more you spend on the best part you can buy and never get all you can out of it to be cost effective I will be added more parts with the same amt..$$$ and more hp..just food for thought

i would either get a cobra for the street, gt-40 for the street/strip and the track heat from trick flow for race.
