The heads won't give nearly as much power though.

Here, you just can't have the system hooked up (ie..bottle disconnected). Cops don't care or check though.

this is true for a short term fix, but if this is a long term project car, heads are the way to go

I definately say heads...if ur goin with more of a long term project look into the edelbrock total power package...nitrous is just a quick fix and personally i think its cheating...n/a is a whole lot better than nitrous

What headers are good ones? I've heard that Hooker Headers are good and so are MAC and are shorty headers better than the longer ones?

for heads i would definetlly look into the likes of edelbrock and trick flow. Although they are medium ranged performance wise, they allow for driver ability to stay at a norm and also will make those upgrades you already have (exhaust, chip, intake) perform MUCH MCUH BETTER then before.

When it comes to headers, i would have to vouch for bassani. There new equal lengths have an amazing power band and our made in very high quality.

so just save up for a while and your mustang will definetly get moving. <img border="0" src= smileys/smiley4.gif>

man always save the nos for the last thing... never put nos on an engine unless there is nothing else left in a reasonable budget.. like one guy said nos can be cheaper int eh beginning but in the long run it will cost more.. but buy heads for now that will be power you wiull always have and it doesnt eat your engine alive
