I am looking for a Flowmaster American Thunder system for my '94 GT and found this system on their site for only $250. it seems very cheap, and i wanted to make sure that they are a reliable site. please let me know, thanks

i've never heard of them.

you know that it's cheap cuz the tails are just aluminum right? not polished at all....will look like the same finish as the rest.

you can get the same system 94-97 catback american thunder system for $239.00 at jegs.com...with free shipping....the same kit with polished tips is 319.00 also with free shipping.....I think you would be pleased with the polished tips!

Diffenatly get the polished tips. The cheap previous owner on my 96 got the ones you are thinking about[:'(] and they look like @#$%.

thank you for pointing out that they are not the stainless steel tips, i did not even realize that. I found the exhaust system on jegs.com and i'm going to go for that one. thanks so much for the help.

by the way, does anyone know how much horsepower and torque this system will add?

i got my american thunder cat-back system pre-used with like 1,000 miles on it for $125. talked him down from $150. i have the GT and turn downs so it doesn't matter what tip i got

The american thunder system is really nice, i just wish they would make a complete cat back with the original 2 chamber 40's and not just the delta flow cat backs and force II's.
