cobra brake kit goes for about $2k, right? If you want I can send you my parts list for my brake setup. Baer front kit (C5 vette calipers) and sn95 cobra rears. 5 lugs all around. I put together the kit for about $1750, and that includes race-duty pads. This kit will outperform the cobra kit, and make use of the better sn95 spindles.

are the sn95 hub and spindles the same from 94-98? i heard that the 96-98's are a tad different and causes the front wheels to sit out a little further.

the 96-98s are approximately 8 mm wider, but they offer more camber and caster i believe (a good thing). they may have better ackerman steering as well. i am planning on using 96-98 spindles on my car.

just an fyi the cobra rear calipers are exactly the same as stock v6/gt rear calipers. the difference is in the rotor. it is 11.65 inches D and a vented rotor. you can get a kit that inlcudes brackets and rotors from frpp for $170 through summit. then use a master cylinder from a stock 94/95, used v6 rear calipers, sn95 axles, and 5 lug wheels and ur all set for rears. front im using 96-98 spindles with the baer gt kit (c5 vette brakes). you can probably get all that for $1500 (w/o wheels) and have amazing brakes

I'm looking into getting a whole system from Brembo actually, I know someone who might help me get a decent cost for the whole thing...hopefully it isn't more than $2k.

Well with svo or mark rotors the center cap will not fit with the fr-500's...and i would highly recomend a 255/40/17 since a 245 will not fit a 9 inch wheel square and will look retarded up close..
