for some odd readon i have to push my clutch pedal through the floor to start the engine, it wasnt doing this three days ago...how do i reset/adjust the safety switch...

ok i found the right box, i read if i pull the tab and then push the pedal it should readjust...<edited><editID>bmorrisj</editID><editDate>38006.6231828704</editDate></edited>

you might need a new switch, www.50resto.com might have em. if not, go to your local ford dealership.

ok now i have to push the clutch in *really hard to start the car, and its very tiring....


edit: success, all i had to do was pull the tab on the plastic rod toward the box, the press the pedal and i heard it slide back into place, easy starting now...<edited><editID>bmorrisj</editID><editDate>38006.6463310185</editDate></edited>
