They test the intakes against one another.
They do use a 347, and the gt40 is ported.
The test does show how the holley II, rpm II (I think), and victor all have great power above 5500
It appears that for below that, you may want either the GT40 (but it was beefed up so IDK) holley I, or performer.
Check the site out, they have dyno graphs and everything.

woah man. u need to do the research, not me. i have an intake on my car. i was just trying to help out.
all i was saying is that holley would most likely have an intake that makes power from idle to 5500.

To Suspect I'm sorry I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers. Maybe the site I was looking at had the wrong info, sorry I meant no disrespect.

seriously i was tryin to help out. and from what i read in ur post thats the range ur looking for power. basicly ur runnin bolt ons. so heres the ones i looked at..
cobra
gt40
eddie performer
trickflow street heat
prof products> which is a eddie knock off
im sure theres more, but these are the ones most people run. the good thing about the eddie and the trickflow is if u ever wanted something bigger ull only have to get an upper. because the lower is the same on the tf track heat and eddie performer rpm. thats y i went with a tf cuz right now i only have bolt ons, but later ill have heads. once i get a sc ill go ahead and swap my upper.
figure out what direction the car is going in and plan ahead.
