4.6 mustang guy needs help from 5.0 guys
 

Ok guys, I know I dont post in this area but I need some help proving somebody wrong. I have a friend with a 5.0 who think he knows everything there is about cars[sm=bs.gif]. Well I was talking to him about cams the other day and he says that regardless what cam you go with in a 5.0 you need a new maf, injectors,fuel pump, tune...ect. Now i know that there are companies out there for 4.6's that produce cams that do not require any adjustments to the stock setup, is this the same for 5.0's? I'm just trying to get the facts straight so he will shut up. Thanks~Jake

thats what i thought... but on a mild cam would you need a different tune though?

You do not need to have a tune, but it might help.

As long as you dont exceed the limit that the injectors and fuel pump can handle theres absolutly no reason why you would have to get one. Also, a tune is not neccessary but it wouldnt hurt.
