Default Need help, doing a 5.0 swap

I am swapping out my 2.3 for a 5.0 t5. I have the transmission and engine block. It's fuel injected. Isthere any parts I can use from my 2.3? Can anybody give mea list of what parts I need to be able to make the swap work.

that sounds about right. you'll need a computer since is efi, and do you know what year the motor came out of? probably need some new motor mounts too unless youir block has them. even if it does i'd say replace them

I am in the middle of doin on now too.....Very easy...I had a donor car so it makes things alot easier.....Yes you need, diff, driveshaft, tranny crossmember,5.0 mounts,(they bolt right into the cross member once you remove 4 cyl ones)somtimes you have to make the hole in the floor bigger for the t-5 shifter housing...(only if it was auto)Also you need starter, alt, powersteering pump and brackets and lines..Complete wiring harness with ecm and all sensors...Like egr controls, map sensor off firewall...If 4cyl has DIS you need 5.0 coil,Rad, all hoses...Air box, mass air sensor,Fuel lines are on a different side of car so you need pump and lines right from tank....If was auto you need clutch pedal and cable...I think that sums it up....there isnt anything to use from the 4 cyl...Pm me for any more info..Oh yah and all suspension is different....Brakes are bigger on 5.0,springs....

it will take alot of swaping, better to go carb.you wont need a new wiring harness.,or fuel pump in tank.
